Effective January 1, 2026. These Terms govern your use of Smartlake Oratory services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Smartlake Oratory courses, materials, or platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
2. User Obligations
You must be at least 18 years old. You agree to provide accurate information, maintain confidentiality of your account, and use the courses solely for personal professional development. Prohibited activities include reselling, redistributing, or reverse-engineering any content.
3. Payments and Subscriptions
All purchases are processed securely. Prices are listed in USD. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase if you have not completed more than 25% of the course. Contact us at [email protected] for assistance.
4. Intellectual Property
All courses, videos, workbooks, and branding are the exclusive property of Smartlake Oratory. You receive a limited, non-transferable license for personal use only. No content may be copied or published without written permission.
5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Our programs are educational tools and do not guarantee specific professional outcomes. Smartlake Oratory is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Max aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid in the prior 12 months.
6. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use materials ends immediately.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in San Francisco courts.
